Last night in Riyadh, Design Sprint Academy, in collaboration with Vuja De Innovation, hosted an enlightening session titled "Innovate or Hibernate: Balancing Risk and Opportunity with Design Sprints."

A big thank you goes to everyone who joined us, contributing to a night filled with vibrant discussions and insightful exchanges on navigating the complexities of today's fast-changing world.

The event highlighted the importance of embracing change, exploring new opportunities, and balancing these endeavors with the need to sustain existing successes. The diverse perspectives and energetic participation from all attendees enriched the conversation, making it a truly rewarding experience.

For those who couldn't join us, here's a brief overview:

  • The evening kicked off with a fun Bingo game, allowing attendees to get acquainted.
  • John Vetan took us through a journey, exploring how ambiguity is navigated within organizations, reminding us that it's the people within that steer the ship.
  • We dicussed how different organizations approach disruption, and we gathered insights from attendees through a live survey.
  • Google's methodology for tackling big questions was put under the microscope, alongside three case studies that showcased their approach in action.
  • Not to be outdone, we at Design Sprint Academy shared our own experiences. With design sprints and problem framing, we've been at the forefront, helping companies navigate through innovation's choppy waters, turning potential disruptions into breakthroughs.

Thank you once again to everyone involved. Your enthusiasm and insights are what make events like these a success. We look forward to continuing the conversation with the local community of change makers.
